Okay, time for another edition of mine and Mr. Aspey’s rebooking series. A little bit different from our last outing (the rebooking of the Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe feud) we look at something which never actually happened that we would have liked to book.
This blog was borne out of how we could not
believe that Vince & the WWE just allowed CM Punk’s departure to become a
permanent one and we were discussing how we would have talked him into
returning. We decided we would have laid out the following plan to him with his
return pencilled in for the RAW after Money in the Bank therefore allowing him
more time to rest from his niggling injuries whilst also allowing his wedding
and honeymoon plans to take place just as they did.
Now back when the initial Shield dissension was
teased in the build-up to Wrestlemania everyone expected that Dean Ambrose to
be the one to turn on The Shield and I agreed because he was the most natural
heel of the trio. Then in the RAW rematch of The Shield versus The Wyatt Family
the WWE booked Seth Rollins to leave Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose high and
dry. Initially I thought they had turned Rollins heel and I realised that I
loved that.
If Ambrose turned heel then I feel he would have
been a huge star immediately and, obviously Roman Reigns would have come out as
the big babyface of the group. Seth Rollins would have probably been lost in
the shuffle as just a midcard babyface. But if Rollins was the one to turn heel
then no-one would be because Reigns would be heavily pushed and Ambrose as a
loose cannon babyface would get over huge.
Of course it turned out he hadn’t turned heel at
that point (although he would some months later) so after that any time a
Shield break-up was talked about I always said that Rollins should be the one
to turn. So by that virtue this would have been part of the plan we laid out to
Punk. Rollins turning heel and joining the Authority would have remained part
of my plan much as how it was executed in reality.
So this is the plan we would have laid out to Punk
when his suspension came to an end after Wrestlemania. Due to that all injuries
would have been taken off the table so, for example, Bad News Barrett and
Daniel Bryan both feature in this booking because as we laid this plan out to
Punk both wrestlers were healthy.
This blog starts from the RAW after Money in the
Bank which we would have had take place in Chicago. Everything would have been booked almost
identically to how it was in real life with Rollins turning on The Shield and
then winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. Bryan would have remained WWE
World Heavyweight Champion. The only difference is we would have not joined
Cesaro with Paul Heyman, instead we would have kept him as a heel (unpopular
decision but the right one I feel) and had him join the Authority as a
replacement when Batista left.
1st RAW after Money In The Bank
(Chicago, IL)
Main Event – 6-Man Tag:
Seth Rollins, Cesaro and Randy Orton vs. Daniel
Bryan, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
As the main event is coming to its conclusion Bryan has Rollins locked in the YES! Lock when Triple H comes out and attacks Bryan causing a disqualification. The heels continue to beat down the faces until static hits and Cult of Personality plays. CM Punk makes his return and the faces stand tall to end the show.
Other RAW’s building up to
Battleground
The feud between the six men from last week’s main event,
Triple H and CM Punk continues to escalate over the next few RAW’s until Triple H
books the main event for Battleground. A War Games match with Rollins, Orton,
Cesaro and Triple H facing Bryan, Reigns, Ambrose and Punk is booked.
Battleground PPV
The War Games match takes place in one ring
inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
Team Authority vs. Team Greatest of All Time
The Authority win the coin toss and will have
the man advantage in the War Games match. Bryan and Rollins start the match
before Cesaro joins and starts beating Bryan down, Reigns makes the save and
does some big power moves on Cesaro before Orton comes in and gives the heels
the advantage again. Ambrose is in next and is desperate to get his hands on
Rollins but can never quite do so as Rollins continually evades him. Triple H
comes in and the heels hold the advantage until CM Punk comes out. As the match
is reaching a crescendo Ambrose and Reigns are fighting Orton and Cesaro on the
outside, Punk is down outside the ring and Bryan is fighting off both Rollins
and Triple H. He eventually gets them in opposite corners before hitting a
corner dropkick on Rollins and then Triple H. Bryan locks the YES! Lock in on Triple
H as all four men fighting on the outside smash through several tables. Triple
H is in a great deal of pain and looks set to tap out but Rollins recovers.
However, Punk (now back in the ring) is in his way as he is protecting Bryan
and making sure the submission attempt doesn’t get broken up. Rollins
charges but Punk catches him and holds him in a DDT style position before
pushing Rollins up so he’s standing up like normal. Both men stand and look at each other
then all of a sudden smile and shake hands. Bryan is oblivious to this as he is
near the ropes closest to the hard cam pointed directly in that direction
whilst Punk and Rollins are behind him and Triple H. Punk then runs off the
ropes closest to the hard cam and kicks Bryan directly in the face. Punk grabs
an unconscious Bryan by the hair and pulls him up to his knees thus allowing
Rollins to curbstomp him. This has allowed Triple H to recover sufficiently and
both guys bring Bryan to his feet to allow Triple H to Pedigree him and get the
1, 2, 3.
1st RAW after Battleground
Show opens with a recap of last night’s main event and
Cole welcomes everyone to RAW, the crowd is chanting for Daniel Bryan.
King of Kings hits and Triple H and Steph come
out with champagne in an ice bucket and the rest of The Authority (Rollins,
Kane, Orton, Cesaro etc.)
They introduce Punk who comes out to a slower
paced, remixed version of Cult of Personality. He has an ice bucket too but his
has a bottle of Pepsi in it.
Triple H passes Punk the microphone and he
points to the big screen where a video plays showing several different angles
of Punk kicking Bryan in the face the night before, it ends on a slow motion
shot of Punk’s kick. Punk: “Do I have everybody’s attention now?”
Punk says it was all part of a master plan “since
I left you all high and dry after the Rumble”. He says he spoke to ‘Hunter’ after that show where
they had a proper ‘man-to-man’ discussion and Punk was told the reason he wasn’t
in the main event of WrestleMania was due to Daniel Bryan but he doesn’t blame
Bryan, he blames the fans.
“For years I craved your approval, just like
Daniel Bryan but he saddles himself with catchphrases to make you all feel
better about your pathetic lives. But I’m CM Punk. I’m the Best. I’m the Best in the World!
I am better than The Rock, I am better than John Cena, I am better than Stone
Cold Steve Austin, I’m better than Ric Flair and most importantly I am better than Daniel
Bryan.
And people want to talk about why I did what I
did last night. I prefer to look at what has happened because of what I did
last night. I kicked your beloved Daniel Bryan so hard in the face that he can’t be here
tonight. And you know why? ‘Cos I’m the Best in the World!”
*drops and mic and mouths ‘Pipebomb’*
2nd RAW after Battleground
Bryan comes out and cuts a fired up promo, he
wants Punk at Summerslam and he’s even prepared to put his title on the line.
Triple H comes out and makes the match. “But
anyway, moving on…” the rest of The Authority comes out and beats Bryan down.
Bryan gets a few hope spots but eventually succumbs to the numbers and is laid
out with a Curb Stomp.
The slower, remixed version of Cult of
Personality hits and Punk strolls to the ring in a suit, he then starts
mockingly doing a “YES!” chant before Punk Kicking (the Punk Kick is the name
of the kick to the face) Bryan. Punk picks up the title and shouts “BEST IN THE
WORLD!” and the paramedics have to stretcher Bryan out of the arena.
At the top of the first hour Dolph Ziggler comes
out and cuts a promo running Punk down and demands a match against Punk. Triple
H makes it for the main event, a Lumberjack match!
CM Punk d. Dolph Ziggler
It turns out that all of the lumberjack’s just happen to
be members of The Authority. They constantly beat down Ziggler but always
protect Punk. Punk doesn’t seem to take Ziggler seriously but Dolph suffers too much abuse
from the lumberjack’s to do anything about it. Punk eventually wins with the GTS.
3rd RAW after Battleground
Michael Cole updates the WWE Universe on Daniel
Bryan saying due to the injuries he suffered as a result of the Punk Kick he is
currently recovering in hospital and due to the nature of the head injury he is
questionable for Summerslam.
The Authority (just Triple H and Stephanie)
interrupt and send Cole packing, they announce that they have granted CM Punk a
well-earned night off. They also announce that if Daniel Bryan can’t make it to
Summerslam then, in accordance to the requirements that come with holding the
Championship, he will forfeit the Championship to the “crown jewel of The
Authority, CM Punk”.
4th RAW (and final before
Summerslam):
As the show is coming to its conclusion CM Punk
comes out (without The Authority) and cuts a promo about his upcoming match
against Daniel Bryan at Summerslam. He runs Bryan down, belittling him and
talking himself up before finishing with “and when the final bell rings on
Sunday I am leaving with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship… BEST IN THE
WORLD!”
Punk goes to leave the ring but is interrupted
by Bryan who appears via the titantron from a hospital bed. He cuts a promo on
Punk and talks about his injuries before finishing with “Come hell or high
water I will be at Summerslam and I will kick your ass”
Summerslam:
Daniel Bryan © vs. CM Punk (WWE World
Heavyweight Championship)
Mike Chioda is the referee but as Bryan is going
for the YES! Knee Punk pulls Chioda in the way. Bryan is obviously concerned
for the referee’s health and is checking on him but when he turns around Punk picks
him up in position for the GTS, Bryan slips out though, pushes Punk away and
hits the YES! Knee. He pins Punk but there is no referee, the crowd count along
“1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8” etc. Scott Armstrong slides into the ring “1…2………” and stops
counting. Bryan is furious, he stands up and grabs Armstrong, screaming in his
face.
This all allows Punk to recover and he picks
Bryan up and nails him with the GTS. Armstrong is there and fast counts the pin
but Bryan kicks out at 2.9 even though the count was fast. It is now Punk’s turn to be
angry with the referee and he pushes Armstrong into one of the corners before
berating him. Armstrong tries to calm Punk down but Punk is right in his face
and is livid. Bryan has recovered and goes for the corner dropkick but Punk
(literally) dives out of harm’s way and Armstrong takes the full brunt of the
dropkick.
Bryan is frustrated and Punk takes advantage
picking Bryan up to deliver a second GTS before following it up with the Punk
Kick. A recovering Armstrong recovers and very slowly (1………………..2………………….3)
counts to three.
1st RAW after Summerslam:
The Authority come out and announce that it is “CM
Punk Appreciation Night”.
Triple H’s music hits as the promo concludes but Triple H
stops it and says “Oh, and another thing, Daniel Bryan… will NOT be here
tonight.”
In the last segment of the show the CM Punk
Appreciation Night comes to its conclusion with an in-ring celebration and it
goes way over the top. When it reaches the top levels of nauseating Daniel
Bryan’s music hits, however, it turns out to just be a ruse and The
Authority laugh in the faces of the audience before continuing to celebrate as
the show goes off the air.
2nd RAW after Summerslam:
Michael Cole announces that Daniel Bryan will be
here tonight to address the fans.
The Authority are surprisingly quiet and subdued
all night after last week’s
excessive extravagance.
In the final segment of the show Bryan comes out, in a wheelchair. He has to be helped into the ring as his wheelchair is placed in the ring before he is helped back into the wheelchair. Meanwhile Cole comes in to the ring and sits down to interview Bryan. Bryan is very emotional in the interview and starts to say that he is going to have to take some time away when all of a sudden King of Kings hits.
Triple H comes out and says “That’s all well and good Daniel but me and Steph sat down with Punker earlier tonight and we were discussing the fact that you had a rematch clause in your contract. We talked it out and decided that it would be best… for business if that rematch happened…….. RIGHT NOW!”
Cult of Personality plays and Punk saunters down
to the ring.
Punk gets in the ring and is taunting Bryan when
Mike Chioda comes out to referee (he complains but Triple H tells him to do his
job) and the ring announcements are made. Commentary are putting over how vile
this is since Bryan is in a wheelchair and can’t even stand under his
own power because of the damage caused to his balance and equilibrium due to
the several Punk Kick’s he’s taken over the past few weeks.
Punk gets right in Bryan’s face as the bell rings
and starts mocking the “YES!” chants but Bryan kicks him in the head! Bryan
pushes himself off the wheelchair and he literally just falls on top of Punk.
He gets a very close two count but Punk kicks out. Bryan goes for the YES! Lock
but can’t get it locked in properly. Punk eventually gets out of the hold,
picks Bryan up (who tries his best to fight out but cannot) and hits him with
the GTS for the victory in a match that lasts less than a minute.
The Authority then proceeds to beat a helpless
Bryan down as Punk sits on the top rope hugging his Championship and just
enjoys the show. Eventually he gets down and tells everyone else to “back off,
I’ve
got this”. He is attacking Bryan in the corner when Ziggler’s music hits.
Ziggler slides into the ring, ducks an Orton clothesline and starts to attack
Punk. All of a sudden though Cesaro attacks him from behind and then holds
Ziggler down so that Rollins can curbstomp him. Punk looks angry and is
checking his mouth where Ziggler punched him. He walks over to a prone Ziggler
and rolls him out of the ring using his foot. Triple H then hands Punk a chain
and tells him to “finish him!” Punk wraps the steel chain around his foot and
Punk Kick’s Bryan right in the head. Cole and Lawler put over how evil this is
and even JBL says “maybe The Authority has gone too far this time”. The
Authority all stand in a line and raise one another’s hands in the air as the
show ends.
3rd RAW after Summerslam
Cole welcomes us to RAW and reminds us of the
tragic events of last week with regards to Bryan, he also points out that on
Tuesday morning WWE announced via their website that Dolph Ziggler has been
suspended for a month due to his actions last week on RAW.
CM Punk opens the show with the entire Authority
and gloats over “ending Bryan’s pathetic excuse for a career” until he is
interrupted by Bad News Barrett. He laughs as he marches to the ring with a
microphone in his hand and congratulates the entire Authority, shaking their
hands one-by-one. He finally gets to Punk and is shaking his hand when he
raises the microphone and says “I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news!” and he pulls Punk in to a
Bullhammer elbow before immediately rolling out of the ring.
Triple H is furious and punishes Barrett by
saying he will go one-on-one with Kane in tonight’s main event.
The main event comes around and the entire
Authority is at ringside, Punk himself is on commentary still icing his face as
a result of the elbow he took two and half hours earlier. Barrett beats Kane
despite interference from the Authority. After the match Barrett grabs a
microphone and a chair and quickly gets back into the ring. He challenges Punk
for the Championship but Punk backs away and leaves. Cesaro at one point tries
to get in the ring but nearly gets taken out by a Barrett chair shot.
4th RAW after Summerslam:
CM Punk and The Authority open the show. Punk
grabs the microphone and says “I’m afraid I’ve got some ‘bad news’ of my own…” but before he
can elaborate Barrett interrupts him and stands at the top of the stage.
Barrett says “If you’ve got some bad news for
me Punk why don’t you tell me to my face, just like I did to you last week – before
I knocked your head off with a Bullhammer!”
Punk retreats to the centre of the ring with his
full entourage surrounding him and tells Barrett, somewhat meekly, that he isn’t getting a shot
at Punk’s Championship because Barrett isn’t worthy of facing the
best in the world.
Barrett says “You know what Punk, you’re right, you’re absolutely
right. You are the best in the world. There’s no question in my mind
that you’re the best. You, CM Punk, are the best suck up in the world”.
Punk is angry now, he kicks the ropes and says “You
know what Barrett? You want it? You’ve got it! Whenever, wherever you want I will
fight you and I will beat you”.
Triple H looks surprised and somewhat alarmed by
Punk’s
sudden change of heart. Barrett says “Why not… right here, right now?” Punk
looks like he is about to accept but Triple H quickly grabs the microphone and
attempts some damage control “Woah, woah, woah. There will not be a WWE World
Heavyweight Championship match tonight. You’ll get your shot at Night
of Champions, Barrett.”
Later on in the night Triple H is sat backstage
with Punk explaining to him that whilst Punk is a phenomenally gifted athlete
he needs to keep his cool. He shouldn’t let his anger get the better of him because he
should be above fighting B+ players like Wade Barrett.
5th RAW (and final before Night
of Champions):
Triple H comes out with The Authority (minus
Punk) and calls out Bad News Barrett. He tells Barrett that “as a warm up for
Sunday” he will be facing Kane in a rematch from their bout two weeks ago.
Barrett asks if Punk is getting a “warm up too?” but Triple H says no as due to
injuries suffered over the past few weeks Punk is at home in Chicago
recovering. Barrett sneers in derision but his match with Kane will main event.
Barrett once again defeats Kane but Triple H
quickly announces that Barrett will also take on Randy Orton… right now.
Barrett, obviously fatigued, is beaten down for most of the match until Orton
goes for an RKO but Barrett pushes Orton off and smashes him with a Bullhammer.
Due to the punishment he has taken though he doesn’t get straight over for
the cover and when he does CM Punk has come through the crowd, entered the ring
and breaks the pinfall attempt up before the ref can count three. Punk and The
Authority beat Barrett down as the show goes off the air.
Night of Champions:
CM Punk © vs. Bad News Barrett (WWE World
Heavyweight Championship)
Barrett hits the Bullhammer and almost has the
match won but Punk kicks out at the very last second. Punk cheats throughout
the match but not for the finish. Barrett is going for another Bullhammer but
Punk ducks and uses Barrett’s momentum to transition it straight into a GTS for the victory.
1st RAW after Night of
Champions:
The main event is a rematch of last night’s main event.
Punk wins once again via GTS but he and The Authority aren’t finished there. They
continue to attack Barrett and Punk is going for the Punk Kick when all of a
sudden Dolph Ziggler comes out with a steel chair in hand, Punk bails
immediately and Ziggler fights the rest of The Authority off with the steel chair.
2nd RAW after Night of
Champions:
The Authority opens the show with the full group
(including Punk) making their way to the ring. They are cutting a promo when
they are interrupted by Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler showing both bravery and a little bit of
cockiness does not stay at the top of the stage but instead gets in the ring
with the entire Authority.
Ziggler challenges Punk to a match for the WWE
World Heavyweight Championship. The Authority find this hilarious, Triple H in
particular and he goes over the top laughing right in Dolph’s face until
Dolph spits in it. All of a sudden the laughing stops and The Authority
destroys Ziggler.
After a thorough beatdown, Triple H (who has
removed his tie and unbuttoned the top two buttons on his shirt) is still fuming
and he yells “You want a title shot?! You’ve got it! At the next PPV you will take on CM
Punk inside the devil’s favourite playground HELL IN A CELL!”
Punk then grabs the microphone and says “And
that, ladies and gentlemen, is a pipebomb!”
3rd RAW after Night of
Champions
The main event is Ziggler vs. Kane with Punk on
commentary. Ziggler wins with the Zig Zag and after the match climbs to the top
turnbuckle and makes the belt motion around his waist towards Punk.
Punk stands up from his position at commentary,
raises the belt and shouts “BEST IN THE WORLD!”
4th RAW after Night of
Champions
Reigns vs. Cesaro in a singles match is
announced for Hell in a Cell.
Rollins vs. Ambrose in a Street Fight is also
announced.
Ziggler defeats Randy Orton in the main event. Orton
looks like he has the match in hand when all of a sudden Dolph hits a Zig Zag
out of nowhere for the win and leaves the ring immediately as The Authority
swarm in to attack. Ziggler celebrates at the top of the stage while Punk
screams at him from the ring and Triple H holds Punk back.
5th RAW (and final before Hell
in a Cell)
The main event is Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose
taking on CM Punk and Seth Rollins. The Authority has firmly stacked the deck
in their favour with the full ensemble having guest roles (e.g. Kane as guest
timekeeper etc.) at ringside. As the match is coming to a head Reigns is
preparing to Superman Punch Rollins but before he can Kane comes in, but Reigns
ducks his clothesline and when he rebounds off the ropes he hits a Superman
Punch on Kane. Cesaro is in now though and he hits the pop-up European Uppercut
on Reigns as the match is called for a disqualification. Ambrose attacks Cesaro
with his wild punches but then Punk and Rollins attack Ambrose.
The Authority has the advantage now with Reigns
and Ambrose taking quite a beating. Triple H hands Punk the same chain that he
wrapped around his foot when he Punk Kicked Bryan and he prepares to do the
same to Ambrose. Ambrose is being held in position and he is trash talking Punk
who responds by slapping him in the face. Punk backs off, measuring Ambrose for
the kick but before he can start running forwards he is caught with a Zig Zag
from behind off Ziggler. Dolph had made his way through the crowd and into the
ring in time to Zig Zag Punk.
Ziggler immediately bails and makes his way up
the ramp as Cesaro and Orton give chase.
Hell
in a Cell
Seth Rollins d. Dean Ambrose in a Street Fight.
Rollins wins a hard fought match with help from Orton and Kane as he curbstomps
Ambrose onto the steel steps (inside the ring) before pinning him for the three
count.
Roman Reigns d. Cesaro after a Superman Punch
followed by a Spear
Post-match Rollins and Cesaro beat Reigns down.
Before the main event Punk approaches Stephanie
and Triple H backstage and says “Hunter, Steph – it has been a long, stressful night
for you two and I can see you need a break. Go home, get some rest – it’s only Dolph
Ziggler, don’t worry I got this.” Stephanie and Triple H nod, smile and leave.
CM Punk © vs. Dolph Ziggler (WWE World
Heavyweight Championship)
The match has passed the twenty minute mark
(with commentators playing up how much Punk and The Authority underestimated
Ziggler) when Ziggler hits a Fameasser for a 2.9 count. This finally brings
Triple H and Stephanie down to ringside (Triple H has chain cutters in hand) as
they realise that Ziggler could actually win this thing.
Triple H is desperately trying to gain access to
the Cell but his mere presence is enough of a distraction as Ziggler turns
around and Punk picks him up for the GTS. Ziggler’s slips off though and
goes for the Fameasser again but Punk pulls his head out of the way and goes
for a roundhouse kick. Ziggler ducks, ZIG ZAG! The referee counts 1…2…. And
Triple H pulls the referee out of the ring. Triple H goes to punch Ziggler but
Dolph ducks and hits a Zig Zag on Triple H! This leads Stephanie to call out
the rest of the Authority and they all descend on the ring mercilessly taking
out Ziggler. When Punk recovers he hits the Punk Kick on Ziggler and wins the
match.
As The Authority celebrate post-match Triple H
has recovered and he wants Ziggler ended. He hands Punk the same chain they
always use and Punk wraps it around his foot. He is setting up to hit the kick
when all of a sudden Bryan’s music hits and he clears the ring.
1st RAW after Hell in a Cell
The Authority open the show but before they can
do anything out comes Bryan followed by Reigns (Ziggler is out of commission
following the Punk Kick and Ambrose hasn’t been seen since the curbstomp on the steel
steps). They come down to the ring with steel chairs in hand and The Authority
bail, retreating to the top of the stage while the babyfaces stand tall in the
ring. Bryan grabs a microphone and says he isn’t waiting any longer, he’s back and he
wants Punk right now.
Triple H laughs this off and asks Bryan what he
has done to deserve a match with Punk. “The last time you two faced off Punk
beat you in the middle of that ring in less than a minute. You’re a joke!”
Since Bryan says he is ready to compete though, he can face Kane and Randy Orton in a handicap match tonight. Bryan says he isn’t facing anyone until he gets his hands on Punk. Triple H notes that he would then be voiding his own contract by refusing to wrestle when able to and Triple H will “have the pleasure of firing your scrawny little ass”. Bryan tells him to do just that, he doesn’t care.
The only thing he cares about is this. And with that Bryan chases after Punk as The Authority quickly make their way backstage.
Punk is seen getting into a limo with Rollins
and Stephanie as Triple H says he’ll man the ship from here.
A backstage interviewer confronts Triple H
immediately and asks him how he plans to deal with the Daniel Bryan situation.
Before Triple H can answer Bryan attacks him, laying in to him with punches and
kicks. Security drags Bryan off while Triple H demands someone call the police.
When we return from commercial break Bryan is
seen being taken to jail by police officers.
As punishment for standing side by side with
Bryan earlier Reigns has to face Orton and Kane in the handicap match
originally planned for Bryan. Triple H also calls Brie into his office and
tells her she has the chance to become #1 contender for the Diva’s Championship.
She will take part in a special six diva challenge tonight. Brie is wary and
asks why she is being afforded this opportunity. Triple H tells her that he is a
businessman and he never takes anything personally and tells her that she has
earned it. However when it comes down to the actual match it turns out that the
only way for any of the other five girls to become #1 contender is by beating
Brie. Pinfalls on each other would not count which leads to an absolute
demolition of Brie.
Punk, Rollins and Stephanie return to the arena
in time for the main event with Bryan in jail and not a care in the world.
Kane and Orton d. Reigns after a Rollins
distraction allowed Orton to hit an RKO for the win. Post-match Rollins
curbstomps Reigns.
2nd RAW after Hell in a Cell
In the build up to this RAW (over the past seven
days) it is announced and promoted that Triple H will “address the Daniel Bryan
situation”.
Triple H opens the show and publicly fires
Bryan. He is wrapping up the promo when all of a sudden Vince’s music hits.
Vince tells Triple H that he can’t allow him to do that. Vince has been letting
Triple H run the show recently because he always believed that he had instilled
it in Triple H that he should always do what is best for business regardless of
personal feelings. Vince says Triple H preaches the best for business mantra
but he doesn’t practice it. And right now, despite Vince’s feelings towards him,
Bryan is what is best for business. And more than that Vince says that the
police have dropped their charges of assault and battery on Bryan and that
Bryan will face CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor
Series.
Triple H is apoplectic and tells Vince that “you can’t do this
old man”. This upsets Vince who says “oh but I can, and I have! And it will be
a No Disqualification match!” This serves to infuriate Triple H even more.
He relents though and says fine, you got it but
Punk is putting up his most prized possession for this match in the WWE World
Heavyweight Championship. Why not raise the stakes higher still by having Bryan
put his most prized possession up for grabs too? His career.
This idea surprises yet intrigues Vince who can
see the money making potential in it. He says if Bryan agrees to it then it is
a done deal. Punk vs. Bryan at Survivor Series, Title vs. Career!
Bryan makes his return in the main event and accepts Triple H’s stipulations but also notes that Triple H will pay. He will pay at Survivor Series when his chosen one loses the Championship and he will pay when Bryan is finished with Punk and gets his hands on Triple H himself. He swears that he will make Triple H pay for what he did to Brie last week.
3rd RAW after Hell in a Cell
Double main event is announced with Vince
pitting Punk against Reigns and Triple H putting Bryan in a match with Rollins.
Punk d. Reigns after Authority interference.
Post-match beatdown is brought to a halt when Bryan interrupts and attacks
Punk. Rollins attacks him from behind though and their match starts
immediately.
Bryan d. Rollins after hitting the YES! Knee for
the win. Reigns helped keep The Authority in check and limited their
interference. Post-match Punk tries to attack Bryan but Bryan ducks an
attempted shot to the head with the Championship and hits the YES! Knee on
Punk. Bryan stands over Punk with the Championship in hand and chants “YES!
YES! YES!”
4th RAW (and final before
Survivor Series)
Vince and The Authority come to some mutual
agreement where neither party will be at ringside for the main event at
Survivor Series.
Bryan wants to talk to the fans and thank them
for everything they have done for him, he would never have got here without
them. He says if the worst comes to the worst and his career comes to an end on
Sunday he will never forget the memories that the fans have helped him forge.
But will his career come to an end on Sunday? “NO!” Will he lose to CM Punk? “NO!”
Will he end the Authority? “YES!” Will he once again become WWE World
Heavyweight Champion? “YES!” Will he rid the world of that smug bastard CM
Punk? “YES! YES! YES!”
Punk interrupts and sits at the top of the
stage. He runs down his and Bryan’s history together but notes that they were never
particularly close, because Bryan thought he was better than Punk, but he wasn’t. Who made it to
WWE first? “Me”, who won the World Championship first? “ME!” Who will be
remembered as the greatest of all time? “ME!!!”
“I AM THE BEST IN THE WORLD and on Sunday I will
prove that while you thought you were better than me, I am definitively better
than you”
“BEST! BEST! BEST! BEST! BEST!”
Survivor Series
CM Punk © vs. Daniel Bryan, No Disqualification
(WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
Mike Chioda is the referee. It is just him, Punk
and Bryan as The Authority and Vince are absent from ringside as agreed.
Eventually though The Authority break that agreement and come out to ringside.
Vince counteracts this by coming out himself, armed with a steel chair. All the
while Punk and Bryan continue to beat each other senseless. Bryan eventually
manages to lock in the YES! Lock and there is nowhere for Punk to go, he can’t get out of the
hold and he can’t reach the ropes. He starts to pass out and the referee checks the
arm. It falls once, it falls twice and as it is falling the third time Triple H
attacks the referee. Punk is completely out. Vince slides in the ring with the
chair. Bryan is fuming, he goes to attack Triple H but is blindsided by Vince
who feigned as if he was going to hit Triple H himself only to level Bryan from
behind. Triple H rolls Punk on top of a laid out Bryan as Vince revives the
referee and shouts “COUNT DAMMIT!” The referee slowly counts the three and Punk
remains Champion despite being unconscious as the match ended.
1st RAW after Survivor Series
Punk comes out alone all smiles and says “One
Hundred. ONE. HUNDRED. For 100 days I have once again been your reigning,
defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World. I celebrated 99
days as Champ in style last night with my most convincing victory to date.”
Punk continues to tout his greatness before
moving onto the topic of Bryan “Last night I ended the career of your hero
Daniel Bryan. When I won this Championship I had two goals in mind: Number One,
to break my own record long reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Two, to
decimate your heroes. Number one is a work in progress but number two is now
complete and it is now on to bigger and better things for the Best In The
World, CM Punk.”
Punk is then about to leave the ring when John
Cena’s
music hits and Cena makes his way down to the ring.
Cena: “You say you’ve beaten all their
heroes but you haven’t beaten me. In fact, you’ve never beaten me fair and square in the middle
of this ring.”
Punk: “I’ve beaten you more than enough times John, I don’t need to
do it again. I’m the best in the world, I’m above that. And more importantly I’m above you.”
Punk raises the Championship in the air and then
leaves.
Triple H announces a main event of Cesaro vs.
John Cena.
Cesaro d. Cena when Punk interferes and helps
Cesaro win.
2nd RAW after Survivor Series
Cena comes out and calls out Vince. He calls
Vince scum for what he did to Daniel Bryan but he knows that Vince at the end
of the day is a businessman and he will do whatever it takes to make money. He
might not have been open minded enough to see money in Daniel Bryan but he has
always seen money in John Cena. Cena tells Vince that if he doesn’t get a match
with Punk then he will quit the WWE. Vince has until the end of the night to
decide.
Vince relents at the end of the night and makes
the match a TLC match to take place at the TLC PPV. Punk tries to sneak attack
Cena from behind but Cena senses it coming and hits the AA on Punk.
3rd (and final RAW before TLC)
An in-ring contract signing takes place with
just Punk and Cena. Both men tear each other down on the microphone before
finally signing the contract. After Punk signs the contract (he goes second) he
picks up the microphone as if he is about to speak but instead smashes Cena in
the head with it.
The rest of the Authority then come out and they help Punk put Cena through a table. Punk sets up a ladder over the body of Cena and climbs to the top before sitting there and raising his title “BEST IN THE WORLD!”
TLC:
CM Punk © vs. John Cena (WWE World Heavyweight
Championship)
It looks like Cena has the Championship won as
the grueling match reaches its conclusion but as he reaches the top of the
ladder and is trying to grab the title Punk pushes the ladder over and Cena
spills through several tables on the outside. Punk slowly climbs to the top and
grabs his Championship to retain.
1st RAW after TLC
Punk comes out alone to open the show. “121. 121
days and I am still your reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight
Champion of the World. Once again I have vanquished your heroes. Last night I
defeated ‘John Boy’ fair and square in a grueling TLC match, and now,
there’s no-one left. No-one to face the Best In The World. I stand alone, on
top of the WWE mountain, not just the Best In The World, but the Greatest Of
All Time!’
Punk then raises the belt and shouts ‘GREATEST
OF ALL…’, but before he can finish, Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he goes
straight for Punk in the ring. Punk however, bails out and retreats up the
ramp, before going backstage. Undeterred, a fired up Ziggler challenges Punk to
a match tonight! King of Kings then hits, and Triple H comes out to address Ziggler.
Triple H says “fair enough Dolph, you can have your main event tonight. It will
be Dolph Ziggler vs. The Authority’s…… Cesaro”. He then smirks, before making
his way backstage.
Ziggler d. Cesaro in the main event in a
competitive match, whilst Punk and the rest of The Authority watch from their
Sky Box.
2nd RAW after TLC
Ziggler comes out to open the show, and once
again, demands a match with CM Punk. Ziggler says that at Hell In A Cell, he
had Punk beaten, and without his cronies, he’d have proven himself to be the better wrestler, and the better man,
proving himself as always. Ziggler says “Punk then tried to take everything that’s important to me, my career. Now, I’m going to take away all that’s important to you Punk - the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.”
The entire Authority then comes out, and Triple
H says that once again Ziggler’s mouth has gotten
him into trouble, and makes Ziggler vs. Rollins for the main event.
Punk, Triple H and Stephanie are on commentary for the main event, with Cole the only remaining member of the usual broadcast team.
Ziggler d. Rollins.
As Ziggler vs. Rollins develops, Ziggler throws
Rollins over the announce table, knocking over Punk, Triple H and Stephanie.
Ziggler then manages to defeat Rollins via a rollup despite Authority
interference. Cole then begins to celebrate Ziggler’s win on commentary, but receives a hard punch from CM Punk when he
questions whether Punk’s time as Champion
is up. The entire Authority then destroy Ziggler as the show ends, with Punk
whipping him with the belt from his suit.
3rd RAW after TLC
Ziggler comes out in the last segment of the
show, and initiates a ‘sit in’. He says he won’t leave the ring and the show will not continue until he receives a
match at the Royal Rumble with CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight
Championship!
The Authority then make their way to the ring
(without CM Punk) with Triple H and Stephanie laughing at Ziggler. Ziggler
fights with The Authority but eventually succumbs to the numbers game. Cult of
Personality then hits and Punk struts his way down to the ring, with a steel
chair in hand. Punk then gets into the ring, sets the chair up, and sits down,
before saying “continue”. Ziggler gets a brief comeback moment, getting
a shot in at Punk, which leads to him kicking Ziggler low, and hitting a GTS.
Punk then places the chair in position, and Ziggler is Curb Stomped into it by
Rollins. The Authority celebrate as RAW goes off the air.
4th RAW after TLC
The Authority hold a ‘Victory Party’ to close the show. Pictures of Punk, Rollins,
Cesaro etc surround the ring (which is full of balloons). Punk brags about last
week’s ‘decimation’ of Dolph Ziggler, saying “We have ENDED Dolph Ziggler”. Triple H then announces that at the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins will
be the Number 30 entrant.
Then the Crow music hits, and a paintless Sting
makes his way out on the entrance ramp! Sting announces that the WWE Board of
Directors have disagreed with the actions of The Authority lately, and that as
a result, the Board have unanimously voted in favour of removing them from
power! Triple H and Stephanie are losing their minds in the ring, as Sting says
that they are still able to appear on RAW, and still retain their desk jobs
with the company, but no longer will they abuse their power and status within
the company. Sting says that a new General Manager has been appointed, and that
it is Sting himself!
5th RAW after TLC
Sting opens the show, welcoming fans to a ‘new
age’ in the WWE. Sting says that Triple H and Stephanie’s Reign of Terror had
gone on far too long, and that now, it’s time to make some changes. He says
tonight is going to be about some fair action with some fantastic wrestling. He
announces that Dolph Ziggler will get his shot at CM Punk at the Royal Rumble,
and that it will be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!
In the closing segment, Sting once again comes
out to address the audience. As Sting enters the ring, the titantron moves backstage,
showing a limo pulling up, and Punk, Triple H and Stephanie get out, and make
their way to the ring. Sting welcomes the trio to the show, and says that he’s
glad they’ve arrived, because his second major announcement of the night also
affects The Authority. Sting announces that Daniel Bryan will be reinstated as
a wrestler in WWE, and that his first night back will be at the Royal Rumble,
because he will be the Number 30 entrant, not Seth Rollins!
A furious CM Punk paces around the ring, before
trying to attack Sting. Triple H manages to hold him back, as Sting leaves the
ring.
6th RAW (and final before the Royal Rumble)
The show is closed by an in-ring contract
signing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between CM Punk and
Dolph Ziggler. Punk comes out accompanied by The Authority, and Ziggler comes
out accompanied by former Shield members Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to even
up the numbers. The contract signing ends up in a melee, with everyone
brawling. Ziggler manages to hit the Zig-Zag on Punk, before rolling out of the
ring as everyone continues to brawl as the show fades to black.
The Royal Rumble

Heavyweight Championship)
Daniel Bryan wins the 2015 Royal Rumble
Bryan wins the Rumble, with the final 4 being Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns. Rollins is eliminated by both Ambrose and Reigns with a double clothesline over the top rope. Ambrose is then eliminated when Rollins (who is still at ringside) pulls down the top rope as Reigns goes to irish whip him, and he goes over the top. Rollins then looks smug at ringside, but Ambrose gets up, and both men brawl out of the arena. It’s then down to Bryan and Reigns, and Bryan manages to get the win after a few more minutes, winning the 2015 Royal Rumble and the right to go on to Wrestlemania 31!
1st RAW after Royal Rumble
Sting comes out to open the show, and announces
that CM Punk will be contractually obligated to defend the WWE World
Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber at the upcoming pay-per
view. Seth Rollins’ music hits and he makes his way to the ring
alone, with his Money In The Bank briefcase. Rollins demands to be put into the
Elimination Chamber match. Sting says that Rollins will be a part of the
Elimination Chamber match… if he wins his qualifying match tonight, against
the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Sting then asks Rollins if all this is ok with his
boss, CM Punk? Rollins sharply replies that he answers to no-one, and tonight,
the future will begin.
Punk comes out to celebrate his victory saying “162. For 162 days I have continued to be your
reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion. At Royal Rum…..”. Daniel Bryan’s music then hits
and he interrupts Punk, saying “62 days. That is the
most amount of days that you have left as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Punk.
If you can even make it through the Elimination Chamber, I will end you at
Wrestlemania and once again become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.”
Rollins d. Sheamus to qualify for the
Elimination Chamber.
Reigns d. Rusev by count out (John Cena
distraction) to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
2nd RAW after Royal Rumble
CM Punk comes out with The Authority in tow, and
complains that he has been victimised by Sting since he ‘stole’ power from Triple H and Stephanie. Punk says that this is all unfair,
he’s the Best In The
World and the Greatest Of All Time and he deserves far more respect than he
gets from Sting and “you morons in the
cheap seats”. Rollins remains
distant from everyone else whilst this is happening, clutching his briefcase in
the corner. Sting comes out to stop Punk’s ranting, and announces that tonight’s main event will be CM Punk and Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns and
Dean Ambrose.
Reigns & Ambrose d. Punk & Rollins after
a miscommunication by Punk and Rollins. Punk has Ambrose in position as Rollins
goes for a Superkick. However, Ambrose ducks and the Superkick hits Punk.
Reigns then takes out Rollins with a huge Spear, and Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds
on Punk for the win. Post match, Rollins goes to get his MITB briefcase and
looks to be about to cash in, but Triple H stops him and says “Now is not the time Seth”.
Bad News Barrett d. Cena (after Rusev
interference) to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
Dolph Ziggler d. Luke Harper to qualify for the
Elimination Chamber.
3rd RAW after Royal Rumble
Triple H has a sitdown segment Michael Cole
midway through the show. Cole asks Triple H about the fallout of Sting’s debut,
and how he and Stephanie are adjusting to this. Midway through the interview,
CM Punk enters the room, pulls up a seat next to Triple H, and takes his glass
of water, saying “are you using that?” Punk repeatedly undermines Triple H
throughout the interview, making him increasingly uncomfortable, especially
when Cole asks Triple H about Rollins and last week. Punk then says “yeah, you
gonna get your boy in line?” At this point, Triple H says “this interview is
over” into his microphone, takes it off, and leaves the room, as Punk smirks in
his chair. Punk takes a sip of Triple H’s water, picks up Triple H’s microphone
and says “thank you Michael” before leaving the room.
Wyatt d. Ambrose (following Rollins distraction)
to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
4th RAW (and final before Elimination Chamber)
Sting makes the main event of Punk, Rollins and
Wyatt vs. Ziggler, Barrett and Reigns.
Punk, Rollins and Wyatt d. Ziggler, Barrett and Reigns (by DQ), after Barrett takes out Wyatt with Wasteland through the announce table. Ambrose then comes out and attacks Rollins, leading to the DQ and Ambrose and Rollins brawling out of the arena. This leaves Punk all by himself, and he takes Wasteland from Barrett, the Spear from Reigns and Zig-Zag from Ziggler as the show ends.
Elimination Chamber
*Daniel Bryan is on commentary for the
Elimination Chamber match.
CM Punk © d. Rollins, Ziggler, Bad News Barrett, Reigns and Wyatt (WWE World
Heavyweight Championship)
Punk and Ziggler the start the match, with
Reigns coming in next, then Wyatt, then Barrett, and then Rollins, with all 6
men in the match, with no eliminations yet. Wyatt then hits Sister Abigail on
Ziggler, but Barrett hits him with the Bullhammer Elbow as he gets back up.
Barrett pins Wyatt, eliminating him. Barrett gets back up and is caught by a
Superkick out of nowhere by Rollins, and both men collapse to the ground.
Meanwhile, Punk has been recovering on the outside for some time, but scrambles
into the ring, and pins Ziggler, eliminating him. He then rolls back to the
outside, staying out of the way. Rollins then gets back up and eats a Superman
Punch from Reigns, before Reigns Spears Barrett, eliminating him. Now we’re down to 3, Punk, Rollins and Reigns. All 3
men stand off, with the commentary team questioning who Rollins is going to
side with. Reigns then goes to attack Punk, and Rollins joins in! After working
on Punk, Reigns and Rollins then go for a Double Powerbomb on Punk, but Rollins
lets go and low blows Reigns! Punk then recovers and he and Rollins begin to
beatdown Reigns for several minutes. Punk and Rollins then go for a Double
Powerbomb of their own and manage to hit it. However, Punk then double crosses
Rollins, lifting him up and hitting him with a GTS, pinning him and eliminating
him! Punk then crawls over to Reigns for the pin, but he kicks out at 2.9! Punk
looks shocked, and Triple H and Stephanie make their way down to the ring.
After talking to them, Punk turns straight into a Superman Punch, from a now
fired up Reigns. Triple H then starts to try and force his way into the
Chamber, but takes a Superman Punch through the fence. Reigns then turns back
towards the ring, but is caught in a GTS by Punk, who manages to get the pin
and the win.
Stephanie and Triple H then enter the Chamber
and raise Punk’s hands in victory.
Punk then ascends the turnbuckle, raising the title and shouting “BEST IN THE WORLD’ looking directly at Bryan. Bryan then stands on the announce table and
begins chanting “YES!”. Punk begins shouting “BEST!” in alternation with Bryan as the show goes off
the air.
1st RAW after Elimination Chamber
As the show opens, Michael Cole announces that
Triple H will address the recent issues within The Authority tonight, and the
rest of the announce team question whether perhaps this will be the end of The
Authority?
To close the show, The Authority come out
(except Punk). Triple H teases that this is the end of the group, but then says
that these past few weeks have made them stronger, and that they are more
united than ever going into the showcase of the immortals, Wrestlemania. Triple
H then brings out CM Punk, who shakes hands with every member of The Authority.
He then extends his hand to Rollins, who slaps it away, only to hug Punk, and
the pair embrace in the ring to the applause of The Authority. The Authority
then link their arms and celebrate looking right at the camera. Daniel Bryan’s music then hits, and he stands on the stage
and says “34 days Punk. It’s 34 days you have left as WWE World Heavyweight
Champion, because at Wrestlemania, I’m taking you down, and my belt back with me. YES! YES! YES!”.
2nd RAW after Elimination Chamber
Sting opens the show, and attempts to make a
match for the main event, with CM Punk in it facing Dolph Ziggler, but Punk,
Triple H and Stephanie come out to argue, with Punk once again claiming unfair
treatment. He also says he has a ‘dislocated jaw’ as a result of the barbaric Elimination Chamber
and says if he gains any more injuries, he won’t be able to even make it Wrestlemania. Triple H says that if Sting
wants a member of The Authority in the main event, he can have the Devil’s Favourite Demon, Kane.
Punk is watching the main event from backstage,
when Daniel Bryan attacks him! Security fail to separate them and they continue
fighting. Ziggler defeats Kane after a Zig Zag and the camera cuts back to the
Punk and Bryan melee. The show fades to black in utter pandemonium.
3rd RAW after Elimination Chamber
Ziggler comes out to open the show, and cuts a
promo saying that The Authority are a cancer within WWE, and that Triple H is
the core of that cancer. He says he wants Triple H at Wrestlemania, to end the
The Authority once and for all. Sting then comes out, and makes the match for
Wrestlemania! However, Triple H appears in the Sky Box and says that he is no
longer an active WWE competitor, and therefore will not be in a match at
Wrestlemania.
Midway through the show, Rollins and The
Authority are annihilating Reigns and Ambrose. Ziggler makes the save though, and
hits Triple H with a Zig-Zag, before the faces eventually stand tall. Triple H
then makes his way backstage and furiously accepts Dolph Ziggler’s challenge. Sting makes the match official for
Wrestlemania.
Punk comes out in the last segment and talks about
how once again, he is going to prove that he is the Best In The World and the
Greatest Of All Time on the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. He says
he will retain his championship, because he is the Best In The W…. Daniel Bryan’s music then hits and Bryan runs down the ring, with a wild brawl
ensuing and once again, the show goes off the air in chaos.
4th RAW after Elimination Chamber
The show opens with a wild brawl backstage between
Punk and Bryan that gets so out of control that it spills into the arena and
onto the stage, where both men end up going through several tables and both
have to be stretchered out and taken to hospital for check-ups.
Triple H and Stephanie come out later in the
show and call out Sting. They implore him to place a ‘no contact agreement’ into the contract for Punk vs. Bryan at
Wrestlemania. Stephanie says if this isn’t put in place, “we may have no main
event for our biggest show of the year, because they’ll kill each other”. Sting agrees to
their terms and says it will be placed into the contract which will be signed
live next week on RAW.
The Reigns/Cesaro, Ziggler/Triple H and
Rollins/Ambrose feuds continue.
5th RAW (and final before Wrestlemania 31)
The contract signing between CM Punk and Daniel
Bryan closes the show, with The Authority banned from ringside on Sting’s orders. Bryan signs the contract early on,
with Punk trying to antagonise Bryan throughout. Punk then goes to sign but
stops and attacks Bryan. Sting tries to get Punk off Bryan, but receives a
punch for his troubles. Punk then places Bryan on top of the table, grabs a
chair and uses it in place of an elbow drop from the top rope, sending Bryan
through the table. Punk then grabs a mic and very seriously, says: “Best In The World”, before dropping the mic on Bryan, then signing the contract, and
dropping that on Bryan too. Punk then leaves the ring, and raises the title as
he reaches the stage.
Wrestlemania 31
Punk opens the show talking to The Authority
backstage, and says: “This is between me and Bryan, I do not need you tonight.
I’m the Best In The World, and tonight, I will prove it.” He then looks
directly at Triple H and says “You got that? Stay out of it.”
Wyatt d. Bad News Barrett
Cesaro d. Reigns
Ziggler d. Triple H (after kicking out of a
Pedigree)
Ambrose d. Rollins inside Hell In A Cell.
CM Punk © vs. Daniel Bryan
(WWE World Heavyweight Championship - No Holds Barred Match)
The match starts with Punk doing his Best In The
World pose during the introductions, but meets a running dropkick from Bryan.
The match ends with a table set up in the middle of the ring, and Bryan is
going for a Superplex through it. However, Punk counters with punches to the
midsection, and front Suplexes Bryan through the table. Punk then runs off the
ropes and hits Bryan with the Punk Kick. Michael Cole says “Not the Punk Kick! It’s over! It’s over!”
but Bryan kicks out at 2.999! as Cole says “Bryan kicked out! No-one has ever kicked out of
the Punk Kick! A miracle! Bryan can do it!” Punk loses his mind in the ring, and starts throwing chairs, kendo
sticks and a fire extinguisher into the ring. Punk then finds ‘the chain’ and suddenly finds focus, staring at it. Punk rolls back into the ring
and clears it of all the debris he’s just brought into it, and ties the chain around his foot. Punk then
goes for the Punk Kick with the chain as Bryan recovers, but Bryan dodges it,
comes off the ropes and hits Punk with the YES! Knee. Bryan then takes the
chain, and locks Punk into a Yes! Lock, using the chain to pull Punk’s head back, forcing Punk to tap out! Bryan celebrates
as streamers and confetti fall, and raises the title in the air as Wrestlemania
31 comes to a conclusion.
So there it is. A rather in-depth post and one we hope would have been enough to convince Punk to come back. Something
that would have meant everything to us since we are both huge fans. Also we
believe it would be a great year for Bryan too. Of course WWE didn’t have this option since Bryan got injured but even if he hadn’t, they had him feuding with Kane – his
title reign didn’t exactly have much promise.
We believe this booking isn’t just good for Punk with Bryan, Cesaro, Ziggler, Ambrose, Reigns,
Rollins and Barrett also all having strong years.
Any comments you would have would be much
appreciated. You can follow myself (@watadam20) and Jonathon (@JLAspey) on
